Set in the extraordinary ecological environment of the Riviera Maya’s ancient jungles, just a few feet from the turquoise expanse of Mexico’s Caribbean coast, Diamante K offers travellers, backpackers, vacationers, and tourists alike a spectacularly serene stay. With plush beach cottages and gorgeous traditionally-built bungalows, as well as top-quality dining and even a range of indulgent massage therapies to offer, it’s a haven of rest and relaxation.

We particularly love Diamante K’s balcony views – throw open those French windows, crawl back into bed with a Mexican coffee and feel the cooling ocean breeze on your skin as you take in the sounds of the jungle waking each morning.

One of Tulum’s spectacular beach hotels, Alaya sets itself apart from many of its competitors through its ecological approach to business. A proud Green Key partner, sustainability is in Alaya Tulum’s heart. It’s beach cabins are absolutely gorgeous, built using traditional techniques and including some breathtaking Mayan artwork; all just a few feet from the sparkling Caribbean Sea. Enjoy winding staircases, stunning cabin balcony views, and immersion in the area’s unique jungles – oh, and there’s a fantastic feline friend there just waiting to make your acquaintance!

Their ethos is that their guests are their friends; your stay is an experience, not just a place to hole up for the night. So, if you’re looking to learn about Mexican Mayan culture on your Yucatan trip, this is the place for you.

      Alma Tulum Hotel Boutique

From its sweetly intimate Corazon (‘heart’) sweet complete with four-poster bed to al fresco dining and a beachfront club, Alma Tulum Hotel Boutique has a little something for everyone. The ocean view restaurant offers a great range of mouth-watering dishes including fresh seafood pasta alongside more traditionally Mexican fare and its club, open for those sun-dappled daylight hours, is a stunning spot to relax and take in the ocean air.

      Zamas Hotel 9.0

With colourful interiors and a playful air, Zamas Hotel 9.0 is one of Tulum, Mexico’s best beachfront hotels.
