Beautiful Photography of the Geo-Thermal Activity in the most Volcanic Town in New Zealand

Rotorua is a geo-thermal wonderland. Encased by volcanoes, hot springs and explosive geysers and set amongst some of the most beautiful landscape in New Zealand, Rotorua is a must-see destination on the North Island. Bubbling springs and smokey peaks are everywhere in this town. Nearby is White Island; an awesome active volcano island just off the coast of Whakatāne.

Here are some of the more visually impressive eruptions that I came across in the short time there. Feast your eyes on these… And you don’t even have to put up with the smell!

The volcanoes aren’t the only things to do in Rotorua, there are loads more. Read the linked article to find out what else you can do!
