Seriously awesome Photos of the Angkor Wat Temples

This is a collection of my favourite photographs taken at Angkor Wat and surrounding temples during a two day stint in the complex. The temples in this region are awe-inspiring and absolutely live up to their 7 World Wonder title. If you are thinking about visiting Cambodia, do it! These structures are older than the Colosseum and the details equal that of the Taj Mahal. Angkor Wat itself was the best-preserved temple of them all, possibly due to maintenance by buddhist monks and it’s moat which has kept away the encroaching jungle.

Although usually quite touristy, I went during the rainy season which meant there were less people in my photos but the sky is grey and stormy, always threatening another downpour. And there were many of them.

Most of these photos are HDR, and all are taken and edited by me. I hope you enjoyed them.
