A Day in Chiang Mai, Thailand [WATCH]
Motorbiking Around Thailand for a Day During Yi Peng
Chiang Mai is a hot tourist destination and one loved by backpackers and expats alike. With cheap food, motorbike hire and hostels, but great internet, Chiang Mai is deeply rooted on the tourist trail. I was lucky enough to head there during Yi Peng; the Lantern Festival. On the night of filming, a million lanterns were let go from the same place at the same time, illuminating the sky with burning stars. During the day we hired motorbikes to zip around the outskirts splashing around in waterfalls and visiting temples. This is for a series titled ‘A Day In…’ where I film for a day doing touristy things with a GoPro on my head, then speed it up in the edit, so it’s only 2 ½ minutes.
